A reporter gathers information and writes stories that will appear in magazines, the newspaper, on the radio, or maybe even t.v. To gather information they look at documents, interview people, or observe the scene. Radio and t.v. reporters often report live from the scene. They mostly write about events going on in the area around them. Working long hours, meeting deadlines, and traveling are all part of the job.
The computer skills you need to have to be a reporter are word processing, computer graphics, and desktop publishing skills.

ReplyDeletePros: Knowing breaking news before others. Meeting different people. Attending many special, and important events.
Cons: Working long and crazy hours. Working on weekends, and long travel. Not spending much time with family. Low saleries.
