Librarian

Librarians help people find facts. They organize information and help people. They buy items for the library and organize them so they're easy to find. Some librarians develop databases and websites. Many librarians are managers, they make budgets and keep records. Librarians spend a lot of times at desk, computers, or helping people.

  1. Librarians seems fun and very boring at the same time. Why do you have to be quiet in a library? I would read lots of books if I had that job, because there would be nothing to do.

  2. To be a librarian you usually need a graduate degree in library science or information science. In some states you need a teaching certificate. They also need computer skills.

    -You can read whenever you want
    -You get to help a lot of people
    -If you work at a school you get a lot of days off

    Cons
    -You don't get payed a lot
    -You spend a lot of time at the computer
    -You have to organize things

  4. Computer skills that you need are you have to be able to create a website or database. You sometimes have to keep records or make budgets. Also you have to be able to research information.

  5. I bet you don't make a lot of money. I guess your wife supports the family. (Wears the pants of the house) I sure hope you don't get fired and end up living in a box! (Don't take it too personal)
