Graphic Designers

Graphic Designers use their knowledge of layout and design concepts every day. They study many pictures and drawings, and create many sketches. They talk to their clients about their ideas, and show the clients their sketches.

  1. Skills you need to be a Graphic Designer would include organization, coordination, and complex problem solving. You want to have time management, judgment and decision making, and equipment selection!

  2. There are many pros and cons of being a graphic designer. Some of the pros of a graphic designer are you get to design and create many different things for clients, like brochures and posters. For certain clients you can really use your imagination! You can also show your design skills off to many people! Cons of being a graphic designer are you always have to be on task and organized, and some clients that have high expectations that you may not be able to reach. You may not get to be as creative because some clients want a certain idea no matter what!

  5. The computer skills a graphic designer needs are knowing how to create three dimensional figures on a computer screen, and how to use different design softwares.

  6. Requirements for graphic designing are you need to have lots of practice at sketching designs, and you need to know how to work as a member of a team. You also need to know how to operate computers for when you create layouts of design and color.
