Electrical Engineer

I chose to be an electrical engineer. An electrical engineer designs new and better electronics. They test equipment and solve problems. The project starts be deciding what the project will do. Then, the engineer designs the parts and circuits. They might draw designs on the computer. Then the electrical engineer tests the designs and if the designs don't work the engineer has to fix them. They work on robots, cars, cell phone systems, wiring in buildings, radar, and navigation systems. Electrical engineers can work in offices, labs, or industrial plants. A normal electrical engineer works 40 hours a week.

  2. To be an electrical engineer you need to have a college degree in engineering for all engineering jobs.To get into an engineering school it takes good grades in math and science. You also need courses in English, social studies, and computers. Engineers should be creative, curious, logical, and detail-oriented. They should also be able to work as a team.
